PUB MOOTS
Moot is an archaic term to describe "a gathering". It's widely used within the Pagan community to describe regular social events where people from all paths can get together to socialise and make new friends.
Unfortunately, because of time constraints, Leodis Pagan Circle no longer hosts a regular pub moot but there are several others operating locally. These offer an opportunity to take part in informative discussions but you can also spend time getting to know fellow Pagans and having fun together.
At past moots, we've covered such lofty subjects as 'The History of Witchcraft' and 'How to Make the Most of Earth Energies' as well as whittled wands, made incense, held a Pagan Quiz, discussed the meaning of the Sabbats, held a drumming circle, taken part in Psychic Party Games and dressed up in fancy dress costumes for Samhain.
There's no need to be shy because you'll be made very welcome at any of the moots listed on this page so why not go along and make some new friends?
